HONG KONG WITH JUANVI AND JUANMA 22-25 JAN 2010

Hong Kong! My dodgy knee refrained me from going back to Spain for a quicky skiing with my brother up in the Pyrenees... so I chose Hong Kong instead.. buff! Juanvi had the ticket, he was operating the flight and I joined as a cling on... first time in Hong Kong. It felt like being in a city from another planet...


Victoria Peak... and we met Juanma, a very good amateur photographer, impressed with his own webpage and all... (maybe one day!)

Juanvi. Mary Jesus Juanma. and me. (I don´t look good but blimey! the fab lights behind Juanma, which weren´t there, only appeared on the camera, made the pic worth showing!) Maybe he is a Saint after all!

Out everynight, we famously partied at Volume and Propaganda, with Pepe and BenjaMing!

WITH ANGEL IN CHICAGO 5-9 JAN 2010

Chicago Chicago! a quick surprise trip for Angel all the way to Chicago, midweek, just 2 nights, but definetely left us wanting for more... viva Chicago!

second day: the snow fell, all the city white, temperatures way below zero, the canal was frozen.






but we still went shopping and also went out.. to Roscoe´s, we had a lovely night with house specials going up to our heads, and also to Sidetrack where we met Mariah Carey biggest fans Will and Charles the blond friend! (see Oprah.com)
Apparently though we missed The Lucky Horseshoe, Hydrate, Jackhammer, Manhandler and Steamworks... lots to do then we´ll have to go back!

IRINA IS NOT COMING OUT!

Well, my yet-to-be-born niece is still not coming out! This wait is creating anxiety! I can´t even imagine what it must be like being the father! Although I seem to be more nervous and excited than my cool brother!!!

Anyway...

I have had a pretty busy December and January hence the low posting, but I can´t wait to share the highlights!!
